    Great job on this wall. It’s inspired the design of one I’m building for a friend. What did you use to patch the holes to then paint over? The paintable caulk I have doesn’t seem like the right stuff.

    Is it dangerous to put square timber in?

    • @ZacJones
      @ZacJones 6 місяців тому

      I don’t think so. You wouldn’t want to 45 the pieces of plywood though. Keep those at a 90 the width of your timber

    • @user-yw5fj4je2c
      @user-yw5fj4je2c 6 місяців тому

      What happens if the upper tunnel is removed and the square timber is cut? I want to process it into a triangular column.

    • @ZacJones
      @ZacJones 6 місяців тому

      @@user-yw5fj4je2c that would for sure work and would be pretty cool. You could almost make the bottom and top 45 degrees and sandwich it together

    Mine quit working but it was a slow death. Sometimes I'd go to the shop and it would be running all by itself. I contacted wen and they told me that signals in the neighborhood are allowed to intwrfere with the remote. Wtf. At first it only worked intermittently and then the remote stopped working all together. The button on the unit does not power it on anymore. If you live in the cities, don't buy a wen. Wens solution was to unplug it and only plug it in when I need to use it. So I'd have to climb a ladder into the rafters to plug it in everytime. No thanks. Shop around for better products. Only had it a year or so.

    New to the climber world and put it to use this hunting season. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxlQ7TDIrnnSXXbRgFFaxqwullRJJIuYAs I felt safe while climbing up and down a tree. It did take some time getting used to climbing and descending the tree. Once I figured it out I was comfortable going in climbing a tree knowing I was going to be up a tree quickly and most importantly quite not scaring every deer out of my area. I am 6’2” and 240 lbs, fit and comfort were great. I bow hunt and found no issues hunting from it. It is a little bulky to carry in and out of the woods vs some of the smaller open front climbers but I thought it was worth the bulk/weight due to ease of climbing (using the rail to sit on) and comfort for long sits.

    I just started making mine and did a price breakdown. Withought my time its $130 to make a set and polyethylene them. Thats 3/4" birch, Stainless fasteners, and double bracing. Built to ACL specs, cant get a set sold for $200. I enjoy making them, and have jigs setup for everything. Kreg, hole cut, red zone, etc. Id say your price is on point.

    Informative video but I am confused by your math. You say at 7:18 that you sell these for $225 which comes out to $450. ?? So, do you sell a set for $225 or is a set $450 and a single board is $225?

When you made the of suggestion to set the power to between 7-9 to prevent over torquing the screw and splitting the plywood. I also appreciate label the front. You have an excellent presentation.

    I own this filter and we love it. However, it did stop working after 9 months and upon inspection it was the circuit board that failed. I called the service number and they picked up on the first ring and I got a human in about 10 seconds!! They were very helpful, asked when I bought it and said it was under warranty and they would send out a new board. It is pretty easy to replace. I called on Friday afternoon and it was delivered to me on Monday!! Can't say enough about the great service from this company and professional help. I would recommend to anyone. And it is almost 1/2 the decibels of my old Delta filter.
